SCOTTSDALE, AZ, May 30, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Norman Mark Brody with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Norman Brody celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With a wealth of professional experience in real estate development, Mr. Brody has excelled as president of Brody Associates, Inc. His passion for real estate has led to several remarkable developments, including Verde at Cooley Station in Gilbert, Arizona. Despite a challenging 18-month delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath, he and his team persevered, integrating into the development three luxury residential components with 750 units, nearly 90,000 square feet of dining, fitness, and retail space, and a 38,000 square-foot medical center. A standout feature of the complex is its central park, The Green, which boasts a 1,000-square-foot performance venue around which are arrayed a variety of dining concepts, including Brass Tap, Alfreditos Seafood, Origen Mexican Steakhouse, Shatera Mediterranean, Vitality Bowls, Decadent Macaron, Island Fin Poke, Hash Kitchen, Crust Simply Italian, The Blue Heron Speakeasy, Sneakybird, Cookie Co., Frostails and Stella's Ice Cream.
Throughout his career, Mr. Brody has gained valuable expertise in the field as the director of commercial development for WestRock Company, vice president of Kimco Developers, a division of Kimco Realty Corporation, broker and developer for Best Buy Company, in-house real estate for Target Stores and Home Depot. Before entering the real estate industry, he represented a project developer as an attorney. His exposure to the industry encouraged him to pursue real estate development for himself.
An expert in his field, Mr. Brody holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government from the University of Minnesota and a JD from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in being featured in Millennium Magazine, opening the metro-New York market for Target Stores, redevelopment of the former Montgomery Ward in Ft. Worth, Texas as Montgomery Plaza and as director of commercial development for Westrock's Nexton master-planned community in the Charleston, SC market. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to lifetime learning, being a problem solver, his ability to work well with others and not take business matters personally. Mr. Brody continues to pursue development and consulting opportunities around the Country.
