Based in Palm Desert, CA and in Istanbul, Turkey, he and his team offer services in leadership consulting, development analysis, project planning, board development, recruitment and interim leadership, and other pertinent areas.
Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Corzo has held numerous high-level positions, beginning in his home country as a professor at various universities in Mexico City, Mexico, and subsequently as the founding dean for academic affairs at Metropolitan University in Mexico City. He also served as the special adviser for the Mexican Ministry of Urban Development and as the under secretary of tourism for the Mexican Ministry of Tourism between 1980 and 1982. Upon arriving in the U.S., Dr. Corzo quickly garnered success, becoming the founding director of special projects and subsequently the director of the Getty Conservation Institute in Los Angeles, responsible for leading cultural conservation projects across 44 countries. Additionally, he was president of the University of the Arts that created the Corzo Center for the Creative Economy in his honor and the president and chief executive officer of LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes.

Civically invested, Dr. Corzo was twice appointed by President Bill Clinton to serve on the President's Advisory Committee on Cultural Property. He also served on numerous international cultural boards and maintains affiliations with the Philadelphia Arts Council and the Los Angeles Arts Commission.
Dr. Corzo earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1967, a Master of Science from the National University of Mexico in 1970, and studies for a Doctor of Science from the Technical University of Munich in Germany in 1974. He also completed a postgraduate Fulbright fellowship in managerial finance from Harvard University in 1980.
In light of his accomplishments, Dr. Corzo has been recognized by civic and international organizations, governments and academic institutions among which Honorary Doctorates from the University of Lecce in Italy and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. His numerous awards include Hero of Los Angeles, UCLA Award for Excellence, Order of the Lion, the Distinguished Medal of Patron of the Arts from UNESCO, and the Gabarrón International Prize for Conservation.
