Most notably, her tenure as a principal was distinguished by her being the first principal of a new building, an achievement she regards as one of her most rewarding experiences. In 2004 she participated in an Oxford Round Table on women's issues in Oxford, England.

Ms. Kinneberg began her career in education as a teacher with Rochester Public Schools from 1968 to 1989. Her early years in teaching laid the foundation for her lifelong commitment to education and set the stage for her subsequent roles in educational leadership. Throughout her career, she has been an active member of professional organizations like the Minnesota Elementary School Principals' Association and Alpha Delta Kappa. These affiliations have provided her with platforms to collaborate with peers, stay abreast of developments in the field, and contribute to the advancement of educational standards.

Before venturing onto her vocational path, Mr. Kinneberg studied elementary education and teaching at Luther College, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 1967. Following this accomplishment, she earned a master's degree and a specialist degree in educational administration and supervision from Winona State University in 1980 and 1985.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Kinneberg is actively involved with civic-minded organizations, such as United Way and the Zumbro Lutheran Church. She has also been recognized as Teacher of the Year, an accolade that underscores her exceptional contributions to education.
