While assisting in workshops, he dedicated himself to raising self-esteem and individual development. Mr. Borromei earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science and a Master of Arts Degree in Social Science from Binghamton University in 1996, Summa Cum Laude and Magna Cum Laude, respectively. Although he didn't originally intend to develop such a strong interest in the subject, he quickly became fascinated with brain studies of neural-pathways and their role in cognitive development, embodiment, feelings, creativity and abstract thinking. Subsequently, he joined the City and County of San Francisco as a senior social worker. Similarly, as a guidance counselor with Episcopal Community Services, Mr. Borromei assisted individuals in transitioning back into society after undergoing rehabilitation and/or incarceration.
Drawing on years of experience and his fascination with the social sciences and cognitive science in particular, Mr. Borromei became an artist and owner of aldoimprovisationalart.com and the creator of the YouTube channel, "Beholding Art as Personal Development," through which he guides others to experience and express non-objective art. He has completed numerous visual-art series including 'Counterpoint,' 'The Blues,' 'Line/Color/Ground,' 'Random-Grid' and 'Radix Art,' all 'crossover bridges' from the spontaneous creativity, engendered by performing improvisational music.
Outside his work, Mr. Borromei aligns himself with The Institute of General Semantics and published advances in Generative Linguistics. Likewise, he is a founding member of The Philosophical Roundtable of California. While his career has been filled with highlights, his most notable accomplishment "has yet to come!"
