Mr. Rysko is an established watchmaker and business owner who has co-owned and operated Diamond Bay Jewelers in Osprey, Florida, with his wife, Monica Galfre, since 2022. This new venture joins their other successful jewelry store of over 18 years–Silver City, in Sarasota, Florida. In Diamond Bay Jewelers, Mr. Rysko aimed to create a new location catering to luxury jewelry, in-house jewelry repair, and high-end mechanical watch service.

Drawing inspiration from his father, a former watchmaker who owned many businesses, Mr. Rysko began learning the art of watch repair by shadowing him at age 17. Born in Paraguay, Mr. Rysko later resided in Argentina before settling in Canada, where he worked alongside his brother for many years servicing watches for customers. Eventually, he relocated to Sarasota and became a successful entrepreneur by opening Silver City.
Well-qualified in his field, Mr. Rysko is a graduate of the WOSTEP School of Horology in Switzerland. He has also received credentials from the ETA Service Center, the Harley Ronda Service Center, and the American Watchmakers and Clockmakers Institute. To maintain and enhance his expertise, he regularly travels to Switzerland for advanced training in watch repair.
Crediting much of his success to his dedicated wife, Mr. Rysko says he looks forward to many more years of business with her. Together, they will continue their legacy of excellent service in watchmaking, custom jewelry design, and luxury gemstone adornments. Their work has truly gone beyond themselves, blessing not only their customers, but also the various charities and worthy causes they donate to.
