    RAYTOWN, MO, June 06, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. L.B. Galbearth has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Backed by years of professional and military experience, Dr. Galbearth excels as the owner of Making Changes to Make Change and a Federal Government Distance Learning Association board member. Still, his work also leaves a lasting impact on the community. As a Harvard Business Review Advisory Council member and a hospital center operations officer in the U.S. Army, he has contributed significantly to business and healthcare. In his current role with the U.S. Army, Dr. Galbearth ensures smooth operations and intelligence at the 811 Army Hospital Center.

Dr. Galbearth completed Army Basic Training in 1986 at 17 years old. His military career is marked by roles such as a battalion executive officer, a brigade adjutant in the 330th and 139th medical brigade, recruiting company commander, AMEDD recruiter, secretary general staff, and aide de camp. He has been instrumental in shaping his leadership skills. As a civilian, Dr. Galbearth's development, organization, implementation, and monitoring of Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action plans as a workplace environment and employee development administrator for the City of Des Moines have fostered a more inclusive and diverse work environment.

During the early stages of his career, Dr. Galbearth worked for the Iowa Civil Rights Commission between 2001 and 2006. As a civil rights specialist, he reviewed complaints filed with the commission under state and federal law, investigated complaints of discrimination, and provided a written synopsis of the complainant's allegations. Before the turn of the century, he also served as a deputy juvenile officer for the 5th Judicial Circuit Court. An expert in his field, he holds a Bachelor of Art in history, a Bachelor of Science in political science from Missouri Western State University, and a master's degree in health sciences from Touro University. Dr. Galbearth is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College, Naval War College Command and Staff, and the Air War College. He holds a Certificate of Management Excellence from Harvard University Business School and is the first Officer in the Department of Defense to complete the Advanced Management and Leadership Program at Oxford University Said Business School. Lastly, he earned a Doctorate in Education Educational Leadership Management from Capella University in 2024. He also completed various military courses through the Joint Forces Staff College, the Defense Nuclear Weapons School, and the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense.

Due to his vast knowledge, Dr. Galbearth has authored several works, including "Making Changes to Make Change: 365 Days of Change," "Making Changes to Make Change: Give Me My Mountain" and "Tao of the Ghetto." In light of his professional achievements, he has received several Army Commendations, an Army Reserved Achievement Award, and a National Defense Service Medal. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in graduating from army base training in December 1986 as a 17-year-old. In the future, Dr. Galbearth aims to attend law school after retiring from the Army.
