Mr. Hall won three Coach of the Year Awards through the Kiwanis Club of Niagara Falls in light of his professional achievements.
YOUNGSTOWN, NY, June 06, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Brian Hall has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and concentrations in marketing, management, and hospitality management in 2000, Mr. Hall began his career with Waste Technology Services. Between 2000 and 2008, he gained valuable professional expertise as an account manager, emergency response coordinator, and community relations representative. During his tenure with WTS, Mr. Hall's boss asked him to coach his daughter's basketball team. Although hesitant, he eventually accepted and discovered his love for coaching.
In the ensuing years, Mr. Hall had a chance encounter with one of his previous teachers and was invited to a local college basketball game. While there, the teacher mentioned he was a girls' basketball coach at Niagara Catholic High School, and invited Mr. Hall to assist. Subsequently, he pursued a Master of Education from Niagara University and began working as a teacher and basketball coach at Niagara Catholic High School. He discovered his true passion for teaching when he encountered a student-athlete falling behind academically. Eventually, he discovered that the student was struggling because of his lack of access to a computer at home. Upon arranging for the student to use a computer in the lab at school, the student turned his academics around.
Drawing on years of professional experience, Mr. Hall excels as a teacher and varsity girls' tennis and basketball coach for Lewiston-Porter Central School District, where he teaches and runs the Academy of Business & Finance. He is also aligned with the Niagara Community Center. Previously, Mr. Hall contributed to his community through the Niagara Falls Country Club, the Porter Cup Golf Tournament, and the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club, where he chaired the annual auction.
Mr. Hall won three Coach of the Year Awards through the Kiwanis Club of Niagara Falls in light of his professional achievements. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in the success his students achieve after graduation in hopes his coaching helped impact his students positively along the way.
Some career highlights include establishing the first girls' tennis program at Niagara Catholic High School, leading the Lew-Port girls' tennis team in securing their first championship win in the fall of 2023, and following that up with a sectional championship win with the girls' basketball team in the winter of 2024. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his father's guidance and the lessons instilled in him by his parents. In the coming years, Mr. Hall intends to continue teaching and coaching at Lewiston-Porter Central School District.
