Having been contracted to establish a small family office in 2020, he focuses his efforts on supervising a diverse portfolio of assets, including real estate, vehicles, businesses and investments. He also handles recruitment, training, and management of employees as well as managing event planning and coordination, among other special projects.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Canzano began is career as an estate manager and chef for California Fashion Industries in 1990 and became an estate manager and personal assistant for Entertainment Entrepreneur in 1998, overseeing restoration projects at a historical lakefront property. Following this time, he served as a chief executive officer and chairman of US News and World Report in 2002 until taking a role as the director of properties for Ziff Brothers Investments in 2004. He continued his career as a project manager and consultant for G&G Projects in 2007, working on numerous projects for historical restoration of homes, churches, and museums.
In 2013, Mr. Canzano served as the owner's representative for the chief operating office of Tishman Speyer, managing private real estate assets for the firm. He subsequently functioned as an estate manager and chief operating officer for Rosebud Ventures in 2015 until taking a role as the director of properties and chief operating officer for a confidential family office in 2016. To prepare for his professional journey, Mr. Canzano earned a Bachelor of Arts in pre-law and business from Rowan University.
Looking to the future, Mr. Canzano has no immediate retirement plans but envisions a time 10-12 years down the road when he will semi-retire allowing him to spend more time constructing his vacation home and traveling with his family.
