Since 1952, Paul Frederick Burmeister has diligently tended the land as a farmer. As the owner of Paul Burmeister Farm in Claflin, Kansas, he oversees 800 acres of farmland, where he plants and produces winter wheat, grain sorghum, spring oats, smooth bromegrass and sweet clover seeds. Mr. Burmeister has been involved in farming since he was a child, having been raised on the farm and taking on certain responsibilities at an early age. Much of his harvested crops are utilized for human consumption and for feeding local cattle and other livestock.
