    ARVADA, CO, June 11, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Memory G. Wollenweber, MA, has been recognized for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Wollenweber embarked on a distinguished career in education that spanned over three decades between 1972 and 2005. Her tenure was devoted to shaping young minds within the Jefferson County Public Schools R-1 in Denver, marked by a commitment to fostering a nurturing and effective learning environment.

Following her departure from the education system, Ms. Wollenweber has contributed to students as a BEST instructor at the Brain Education Teacher, Body & Brain Yoga & Health Centers Inc. since 2006 and tutor and club time teacher for Whiz Kids Denver since 2016. Apart from her educational activities, her dedication to wellness and education led her to become a yoga instructor at Curves in 2010 and a yoga instructor for the Body & Brain Yoga & Health Centers Inc. in 2011.

In preparation for her career, Ms. Wollenweber earned a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from the University of Northern Colorado in 1972 and a Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction in 1976.

Beyond her professional life, Ms. Wollenweber has been deeply involved in religious and civic associations. She has been an active member of the administrative commission at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Arvada, Colorado, since 2022 and has served as a chaplain for the Frances Wisebart Jacobs chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution in Denver since 2020. Additionally, Ms. Wollenweber has been involved as a delegate to Coloradans for the Common Good since 2018 and through Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, where she has held several positions, including Omega State Parliamentarian since 2018.

Ms. Wollenweber's commitment to community service was previously evident through her involvement with various mission works abroad in El Salvador and Nepal and locally with Whiz Kids Denver for at-risk children. She was also an elder at her church, a spiritual director for the Denver Women's Correctional Facility, and a chapter board of directors member for the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Ms. Wollenweber's efforts have been recognized with a Colorado Distinguished Teacher Award in 1986 and a Volunteer Choice Award for supporting incarcerated women. She credits her success and community involvement to her devotion to God and her desire to help others.
