Ms. Friese's tenure at the organization encompassed managing clinical services, holistic treatment services, mental health, and family programming, highlighting her versatility and leadership.
In addition to her professional roles, Ms. Friese has significantly contributed to raising awareness about gambling disorders through insightful speeches across Minnesota and training sessions in Washington. She has also been involved with the Minnesota Department of Human Services' gambling advisory council.
Ms. Friese's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Concordia College in 1997 and a Master of Social Work from Minnesota State University in 2013. She has also earned several relevant certifications, including as a licensed alcohol and drug counselor through the Minnesota BBHT in 2016 and as an international certified gambling counselor-I through the National Council on Problem Gambling in 2023.
