Mr. Jenkins's career notably began in 1978 with KPMG.
Mr. Jenkins's academic background included earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and finance, magna cum laude, from Boston University in 1978 and a Master of Science in taxation from Bentley University in 1982. He became active with Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Psi during college. Mr. Jenkins also received numerous professional credentials, including as a certified public accountant, certified fraud examiner, certified public accountant accredited in business valuation, certified financial forensics expert, and certified anti-money laundering specialist. Additionally, he received designations with an instrument-rated private pilot license and a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain's license.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Jenkins is deeply committed to giving back to the community and pursuing personal interests that reflect his diverse skills and passions. Carl serves as a 2nd Lieutenant of emergency services with the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol. Carl is also a Mentor to college students nationwide through his association with Scholars of Finance, an organization dedicated to raising the ethical standards of the Finance profession. Moreover, Mr. Jenkins has become an accomplished author, having co-written works such as "Casino Gaming in Massachusetts: An Economic Fiscal and Social Analysis."
Looking toward future goals, Mr. Jenkins is focused on continuing to work as a board member on the Drug Enforcement Administration Educational Foundation on initiatives to educate young people about the dangers of drug use. Carl is also active with the Boston Police Foundation, where he currently serves as President. The Foundation is focused on supporting law enforcement officers with health and wellness initiatives as well as supporting community policing resources. This goal underscores his commitment to positively impacting society through education and advocacy.
