After excelling as the vice president of RTI Shelving Systems for 22 years, Ms. Harrianan retired in 2023, closing out that chapter of her life. Over the years, she specialized in complex custom shelving and storage projects for various clients from libraries to high-end retailers. Before becoming the industry giant that it is today, RTI Shelving began with her and her husband. After her husband was unfairly compensated for a large project, she suggested going into business. Although there were not many employees to start, JMB Steel Inc. grew steadily through their dedication until they had the power to purchase RTI Shelving Systems. Upon acquiring RTI, Ms. Harrianan left her job with Cosmetic Concepts to work alongside her husband. Despite being a calculated risk, it was ultimately her best decision ever.
In the past she dedicated herself to others by housing international and Japanese students. She earned several certificates from Cambridge University before establishing herself professionally as an expert in her field.
Ms. Harrianan received several awards from her former employer for her outstanding work. Additionally, she has been named in Who's Who of Professional Women and honored in Marquis Who's Who Millennium Magazine. While her career has been filled with highlights, she took the most pride in satisfying her clients. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she credits her success to her desire to make a difference and care for others. Within the next five years, Ms. Harrianan looks forward to embracing a future of new beginnings with excitement and positivity.
