He had found earlier success as the vice president of commercial risk and head of Latin America legal services at Aggreko, where he managed foreign legal affairs related to regional commercial risks, as Assistant General Counsel of Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he led and managed the legal frameworks of the pharmaceutical industry in Latin America, Middle East and Africa. Prior to this period, Mr. Andrade Max worked as a legal manager for Bocar Group and as an attorney at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, where he focused on Mexican, Latin American, International, and European Union legal services.
Mr. Andrade Max's professional journey began after completing his education, which laid the foundation for his successful career. Having earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City in 1991, he went on to receive a doctorate (Dr.iur.) in European Union and international law at the University of Vienna in 1994, and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 1996. Likewise, he has been certified as a foreign legal consultant through the State Bar of Texas and as a Leadership Professional in Ethics and Compliance via the Ethics & Compliance Initiative.
