He previously served as the president of PTI Group Inc. from 2008 to 2010 and as the vice president of sales and marketing at PTI Sports from 2002 into 2008. Before that, he was the director of sales planning at Rexall Sundown Inc. from 2000 to 2002. His career journey began at Kraft Foods (now the Kraft Heinz Company), where he held multiple roles between 1988 and 2000, from a sales representative to a customer category manager.
Mr. Guthrie's career is marked by significant achievements, including successfully negotiating Nautique agreements to be the "Official Tow Boat" at several international games and surpassing historical international sales volumes at Nautique for three consecutive years. Under his leadership, PTI Sports grew by over 49% in six years. Furthermore, he successfully launched Miracle Mobility LLC into an industry leader within the medical device sector.
Supporting Mr. Guthrie's professional success is his academic background. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and biblical studies from Evangel University, followed by a Master of Business Administration from Maryville University. He also holds certifications in lean management, Six Sigma and steps management, qualifications underscoring his success in providing strong C-level leadership and clear direction for his company's operations. He has also received numerous awards, including being named to the "Top 10 Medical Health Device Companies to Watch" by Inc. Magazine in 2024, and receiving "Best in Florida" Awards in 2022 and 2023.
