Before his tenure at Claro Enterprise Solutions, Mr. Espinosa Barrios served as an Assistant Vice President at City National Bank, overseeing the service desk operations and implementing strategic improvements to enhance service delivery. His career also includes roles as an IT helpdesk supervisor at NUTRANEXT in Sunrise, Florida, where he led the helpdesk team in providing efficient technical support. Additionally, he has contributed significantly to the field as an accredited trainer with APMG-International and as an ITIL-authorized trainer with EXIN. Previously, Mr. Espinosa Barrios served in a wide range of IT roles in South America, beginning in 1997.
Mr. Espinosa Barrios's expertise extends beyond his professional roles into academia, where he served as an associate professor of graduate studies at Universidad Tecnológica del Centro (UNITEC) and Universidad José Antonio Páez in Carabobo, Venezuela. His academic contributions have enriched the knowledge base of countless students in the fields of IT management, IT strategic planning and IT service management.
Mr. Espinosa Barrios's academic background laid the foundation for his illustrious career. Initially studying Information Engineering at Universidad Tecnológica del Centro (UNITEC), where he earned a bachelor's degree in 1991, he went on to receive a Master of Science in System Engineering from Simon Bolivar University in 1998. His pursuit of excellence is further demonstrated by his attainment of numerous certifications, including ITIL 4 Master, among others.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Espinosa Barrios is dedicated to giving back to the community through his volunteer work with Doral ProHealth since 2015.
