Since joining FIS in 2000, Ms. Rodgers has held several pivotal roles. She still serves as the managing vice president of relationship management for securities finance and processing, a position she has held since 2000, and also worked as vice president of client relations for North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa from 2017 to 2022.
Prior to her tenure at FIS, Ms. Rodgers was a relationship vice president at SunGard Consulting Services and as vice president of operations for hosting services at EnForm Technology. Her early career included a significant role as a senior manager at KPMG Consulting from 1997 to 1999 after spending 22 years at Verizon Telecommunications, where she rose to the position of director of program management by 1997.
Ms. Rodgers's career took a remarkable turn when she obtained her Project Management Institute (PMI) certification in 1992. This certification enabled her to transition into project management, where she quickly gained expertise in technology and process management. Between 1992 and 1996, she led a monumental four-year project for Verizon's process re-engineering program office, overseeing a $1 billion initiative aimed at revolutionizing the telecom retail and wholesale market. This period marked a significant turning point in her career, solidifying her prowess as a project manager.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Rodgers is an active member of the Professional Working Women's Organization. Her contributions to the industry have been recognized with several awards, including being in the top 20 percent of all sales across FIS and receiving a commercial award. She has also authored several professional articles for PMI publications and a cookbook titled "Mom Make My Favorite."
Ms. Rodgers's educational background includes coursework in psychology at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. She attributes much of her success to the support and wisdom shared by her mentors and her extensive network of colleagues and friends. Her husband has also been an incredible pillar of strength throughout her journey.
Outside of her professional life, Ms. Rodgers enjoys gardening, boating, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Although she has served in her profession long enough to retire, she does not plan on leaving the workforce soon. Instead, she and her sister are considering opening a small business on their ranch as a wedding and family reunion venue.
