As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process. This honor recognizes Mr. Epperson's distinguished career as a trailblazer in the field of organizational development and effectiveness.

Mr. Epperson has distinguished himself as a leader in the field of organizational development, particularly within Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he has served as the Principal of Organization Effectiveness since 2021. Mr. Epperson has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to driving transformative change. In this role, he leverages his deep expertise to enhance the performance and customer-centricity of AWS, a vast global network encompassing thousands of employees. By scrutinizing critical business signals, he develops targeted solutions that empower AWS leaders to achieve breakthrough success. His work at Amazon focuses on business strategy, organization design, team effectiveness, and culture transformation.

Prior joining Amazon, Mr. Epperson was a Partner and Leadership Practice Leader at Navalent (www.navalent.com) from 2016 to 2021, where he led strategic planning, organization design, talent management and change management. His tenure at Navalent also included roles as a Senior Consultant (2008-2016) and as a Consultant (2006-2008). During his time at Navalent, Mr. Epperson co-authored two publications – Future in-Formation: Choosing a Generative Organizational Life (Outskirts, 2008); and Bridging the Leadership Divide Participant Workbook: Building High Performance Leadership Relationships Across Generations (Pfeiffer, 2010).

Additionally, Mr. Epperson served as an adjunct professor at Argosy University (2009-2010), preceded by his experience as a clinical treatment aid at Sound Mental Health in 2004, and his post as a Crisis Counselor with the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families in 2002.

Mr. Epperson's professional journey began with his work as a clinical therapist for children. His work specialized in helping them overcome the effects of severe childhood trauma and abuse. This path led him to a profound experience with a young client who significantly influenced his career direction during their final session of play-based therapy. Realizing the limitations of focusing solely on individual change, Mr. Epperson shifted his focus toward larger scale systems and transformation. This realization propelled him into the realm of organization development and effectiveness working with executives of Fortune 500 companies, and in a few cases, supporting large scale nation-change initiatives.

Underpinning Mr. Epperson's success is an impressive educational background. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Christian Theology from Seattle Pacific University (SPU), followed by two Master of Arts degrees in Christian Theology (MACT) and Counseling Psychology (MACP) from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology and one Master of Science degree in Organizational Development (MSOD) from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School.

Mr. Epperson is actively involved in numerous civic associations and creative projects. He has been a mentor at SPU since 2022 and has held positions such as board chair for Water1st International (www.water1st.org) since 2016 and The Light Collective (www.lightcollectivepnw.org) from 2020 to 2022. Mr. Epperson's commitment extends to his role as a coach with the Seattle Youth Soccer Association, volunteering with Healthbridge Global and Crisis Intervention Hotline in King County, and participating in the mentor forum on the University of Washington Campus for the Foundation for Global Scholars.

In his personal life, Mr. Epperson is a dedicated father of three sons and, with his spouse, intends to move their family abroad when the right career opportunity presents itself. As Mr. Epperson looks to the future, he remains steadfast in his commitment to empowering individuals and organizations to reach new heights.
