This role was preceded by his leadership as president of Melvin Mark Properties between 1992 and 2015, during which time he oversaw substantial growth and diversification of the company's portfolio. Mr. Andrews began his career at Melvin Mark Properties as a real estate broker in 1978 after his two-year post as a clerk and customer representative at Pacific Power and Light in 1974.
The foundation of Mr. Andrews' success can be traced back to his academic achievements. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Oregon in 1974, followed by a Master of Business Administration in real estate finance from The Wharton School in 1978. Mr. Andrews was also the president and chairman of Sport Oregon from 1996 to 2001 and served a one-year period as the president of the Multnomah Athletic Club in 1994.
