Mr. Pereira's earlier career included among others, roles as a telecommunications coordinator at Citibank NA, and owner of Contrast Data Associates which became CompHaiti S.A. from an investment with a local private equity in 1997. Aside from his full-time ventures, he remains active as a member of the board of directors at the Société Financière Haïtienne de Développement S.A. Mr. Pereira has also been recognized for his influential leadership as the board of directors' chair at Caribbean Investor Capital S.A. since 2021, where he oversees investment strategies and corporate governance.
Highly educated, Mr. Pereira obtained an associate degree in engineering and computer technology from Citi University of New York Community college in 1982, ultimately receiving a Master of Business Administration in Leadership and Sustainability (MBALS) from the University of Cumbria in 2013. Further enhancing his expertise, Mr. Pereira completed an executive education program in private equity and venture capital from Harvard Business School in 2019.
