In a career spanning over two and a half decades, Mr. Puranik has served as the board member of Connecticut Insurance and Financial Services till 2023. He was the global head of partnerships & alliances and insurance M&A at Infosys Limited in Connecticut from 2021 to 2022. In this capacity, he was instrumental in driving transformation for clients and building vertical capabilities. He was also the associate vice president and portfolio head at Infosys from 2015 to 2021. From 2008 to 2015, he was a client partner and senior director. Earlier in his career he was a senior account manager and presales professional from 2006 to 2010.
Mr. Puranik's career began as a consultant at Aetna, a CVS Health Company in Hartford, Connecticut, from 2003 to 2004. He also worked as a technology lead at Verizon in New York from 1999 to 2003. His initial professional experience was as a design engineer at a gear manufacturer in India from 1998 to 1999.

He served as the chair of the Blockchain Committee of Connecticut for two years and is actively involved in the Harvard Business School Chapter activities. Mr. Puranik enjoys spending time with his two boys Tanay and Yuval by traveling and engaging in activities such as baseball, playing ping pong, golf and cooking. Mr. Puranik's fiancée Ukti Gohel is a well-established dentist in Connecticut.
