ROCHESTER, NY, June 28, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kara L. Brown was selected by Marquis Who's Who for a prominent feature in the New York State regional edition of Architectural Digest.
Motivated by a commitment to excellence in interior design, Ms. Brown has found success at Bergmann since 2019. In her role, she combines a passion for creative expression with the imperative to create functional spaces for her clients, encompassing various public organizations throughout New York, including fire departments, town governments and libraries. Since joining Bermann, Ms. Brown is especially proud to have contributed to a large-scale renovation project that transformed a trucking company warehouse into an office building. Previously, she worked at Hanlon Architects from 2015 to 2019.
Adjacent to her responsibilities in the architecture community as an interior designer, Ms. Brown is a color guard instructor for the Medina High School Marching Band, the Chili Color Guard Inc. and the White Sabers Drum Corps. In these roles, she leverages a wealth of experience teaching choreography and technical color guard skills, which she has accrued over 15 years.
Ms. Brown attributes much of her success to the mentorship she has received and her ongoing collaboration with other industry professionals via the Rochester chapter of the International Interior Design Association. Looking ahead, she anticipates a greater focus on the blurring boundary between residential and commercial environments, with future designs reflecting a growing trend toward working from home. Additionally, Ms. Brown hopes to continue incorporating elements of environmental sustainability in her designs, preferring materials that exert less of a carbon footprint.
