In his current role, Mr. Chima focuses on steering the company's certification, financial vision, and overall brand development. Alongside his role with AFC Urgent Care of, he concurrently acts as the executive director at Degachi LLC, a real estate development and property management company since 2022. Mr Chima also contributes to the Tech space as an AWS cloud and DevOps engineer.
Before transitioning into technology roles and subsequently the health care sector, Mr. Chima had a successful career in finance. After graduating in 1999 with a Bachelor of Technology in applied economics from the Federal University of Technology Owerri in Nigeria, a degree that provided him with the foundational knowledge necessary for his roles in finance and technology, he worked first as a banker in Nigeria before enjoying nearly a decade at TD Bank, where he served as a financial representative and transformed the financial landscape of the North New Jersey market.
For his outstanding service and dedication, Mr. Chima was honored with the National Service Merit Award in Nigeria in 2021. Despite his initial success in finance, he ultimately felt called to do more, which led him to pursue training in DevOps engineering and cloud engineering before realizing his true passion lay in making a meaningful impact on the community through health care. Such a realization led him to attend medical school and embark on a new path in health care entrepreneurship and real estate development.
As a result of his professional excellence and community engagement, Mr. Chima is an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the Roxbury Chamber of Commerce and the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. In all he has pursued and achieved, he attributes his success to his motivation, which he draws from the world around him. He believes that all individuals possess unique abilities and that it is essential to recognize and develop these abilities.
Coming from a humble background in Nigeria, the opportunities Mr. Chima found in America were empowering and served as a driving force for him.
