From 2012 to 2014, he served as director of worldwide infrastructure platform and private cloud sales. Subsequently, he became the desktop and datacenter solutions director for the Midwest region from 2014 to 2017. His expertise in cloud computing was further solidified during his tenure as Azure technical solutions director for the U.S. financial services west region from 2017 to 2019. Before assuming his current position in 2022, he was the national Azure solutions director for U.S. financial services banking from 2019 to 2022.
Prior to his illustrious career at Microsoft, Mr. Brevard served in the United States Air Force. He began his military service as a lieutenant and chief network officer from 1995 to 1998, later advancing to captain and network security team lead from 1998 to 2000. His military background provided a strong foundation in network security and leadership, which have been instrumental in his professional achievements.
Mr. Brevard's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the United States Air Force Academy, where he graduated in 1995. This academic achievement laid the groundwork for his successful career in technology and cloud computing. Additionally, he has obtained several certifications that have further enhanced his expertise, including Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, and Azure Fundamentals in 2019; and Insight Selling, Microsoft, in 2017. Additionally, he received Fire Service Driver Operator certification in 2020 and entry-level Firefighter with Hazardous Materials Awareness in 2019 from Madison Area Technical College.
Throughout his career, Mr. Brevard has received numerous awards from Microsoft, recognizing his exceptional contributions and leadership within the company. He attributes much of his success to Microsoft's supportive environment and his ability to assemble outstanding teams. In his personal life, Mr. Brevard serves his community as a volunteer fire fighter and enjoys fishing and traveling.
