Before stepping into her current role in 2023, Dr. Ershadi served Chase Brexton Health Care as its vice president of pharmacy, strategy, and business development. Previously, she honed her expertise in operation and process improvement as director of consulting services at Premier Inc. Earlier positions included director of pharmacy at both Inova Fairfax Hospital and Suburban Hospital, and clinical coordinator at St. John Hospital and St. Cabrini Hospital. These experiences solidified her reputation as an expert in pharmacy, strategy, operation, and process improvement.
Dr. Ershadi's professional affiliations reflect her leadership within the industry. She has served as chairperson of the Pharmacy Division Group for the Healthcare Council of Mid-Atlantic Region, been a member of the Innovation Council for the National Association of Community Health Centers, and held the position of president-elect for the Northern Virginia Society of Health-System Pharmacy. Her myriad industry contributions have been recognized with an award from the Baltimore Business Journal as one of the Top Healthcare Business Leaders in 2021.
Dr. Ershadi's success is built upon a solid educational foundation. She earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2008 and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1995, and she holds a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy. Further enhancing her credentials are certifications from Stanford University's Executive Program in Strategy and Organization, Lean Certification from University of North Carolina, and a certificate for teaching Hatha yoga.
