Dr. Richard G. Linowes shared his professional achievements and industry expertise in The New Yorker



Lending his expertise to international universities, he was a visiting professor at New York University, Warsaw University in Poland, Ritsumeikan University in Japan and Tel Aviv University in Israel.

    RESTON, VA, July 10, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Richard G. Linowes, president and founding professor with Clarewood University, was selected by Marquis Who's Who for a prominent feature in the Washington, DC, regional edition of The New Yorker.

Dr. Linowes is recognized as an expert in the fields of business management and education, supported by more than 40 years of professional excellence. Specializing in business quality management and cross-cultural relations, he is motivated by his inner drive to develop enlightened leaders for business and government and help prevent unethical behavior in the realm of business. Commencing his career in 1974 as an affiliate with the Matsushita Electric Industrial Company, he has since been celebrated as the president and founding professor of Clarewood University in Reston, Virginia. He has also served as an educator with the United States Department of State's Foreign Services Institute.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Linowes was a senior systems analyst with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Washington, D.C., until 1977, a research assistant at Harvard Business School from 1978 to 1982, and a consultant for Goldman Sachs from 1983 to 1986. Thereafter, he served as a Kogod Outstanding Professor of Undergraduate Programs with the Kogod School of Business at American University between 1986 and 2019. Lending his expertise to international universities, he was a visiting professor at New York University, Warsaw University in Poland, Ritsumeikan University in Japan and Tel Aviv University in Israel. Furthermore, Dr. Linowes has dedicated his time to his community as the vice president of his local Homeowners Association and a member of Shaare Torah, as well as the founder and director of the Richard G. and Elisa G. Linowes Charitable Fund.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Linowes has been especially proud of attending the inaugural meeting of the Kogod Alumni Network of Greater New York, attended by 30 former students. He visits former students around the world to see how their careers have evolved since their days in school. His novel teaching methods build their confidence to pursue their mission in their personal and professional lives. To commemorate his achievements, Dr. Linowes was awarded the Fulbright Fellowship for Pedagogical Innovation to New Zealand in 1989.

Dr. Linowes attended Princeton University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in cybernetics in 1973. Shortly thereafter, he earned a Master of Science in computer and communication sciences from the University of Michigan in 1975. Concluding his edification, he matriculated at Harvard University, from which he received a Doctor of Business Administration in 1984.
