Prior to his current role, Mr. Hooper served as Vice President of Sales at Apps Associates from 2021 to 2023, and Sales Director for the Northeast region at Emtec Inc. in 2021. His career also includes 15 years with IT Convergence, where he started as Account Manager in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2005, and eventually led their Sales and Strategy across the Northeast Region for several years as Regional Sales Director before departing in 2021.
Mr. Hooper started his career as a Sales and Technical Engineer at Hagen Software in Washington, DC, from 2000 to 2004. During this time Mr. Hooper was first introduced to Sales, but also wore multiple hats across Customer Service and Technical Support due to the startup nature and spirit of Hagen Software. His international background has been invaluable throughout his Sales and IT career, providing him with the ability to connect across cultures and achieve great success through relationship-building. He has consistently demonstrated exceptional business acumen and achieved remarkable success throughout his career, including record yearly bookings and billings at IT Convergence, Rookie of the Year at Apps Associates, and countless relationships built across the globe through successful networking, problem-solving and project delivery.
Academically, Mr. Hooper holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Economics from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Kent, graduating in 2005. His greatest accomplishment is having placed three daughters through school and college, including his eldest at his Alma Mater. This is testament to his dedication and commitment to both his family and career.
Mr. Hooper's personal life is marked by a balance between his professional endeavors and family commitments, reflecting his ability to excel in both areas. He grew up in several countries including Italy, Libya, India and Pakistan, and loves to travel with his wife whenever possible. Mr. Hooper learned French in high school and is fluent in Italian and Spanish. His parents are from Italy and the United Kingdom, and his wife from Argentina.
