Before establishing himself professionally, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics, magna cum laude, from Colorado College and a JD from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Subsequently, Mr. Kelly studied international law at Magdalen College, Oxford and received a certification through the University of Oxford. Later, he completed constitutional history studies at Trinity College, Cambridge under the late Chief Justice of the United States, William Rehnquist, becoming a Cambridge University alumnus and a member of its 1209 Society. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Kelly is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and Southwest Bar Association. In conjunction with his work, he has contributed to his community as the El Paso County Bar Association's employment law committee co-chair. In light of his professional achievements, he was consistently named an Outstanding Young Man in America between 1987 and 1996.
