Winnette Warren, CRNA, shared her professional achievements and industry expertise in Vanity Fair

    IRVING, TEXAS, July 11, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Winnette Warren, CRNA, retired certified registered nurse anesthetist, was selected by Marquis Who's Who for a prominent feature in the Dallas/Fort Worth regional edition of Vanity Fair.

With a specialization in anesthetic nursing, Ms. Warren possesses more than 50 years of professional experience, serving as a testament to her prowess in the health care industry. Prior to her retirement in 2013, she served as a corporate owner of Anesthesia by Musa, P.C., where she exemplified her expertise as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) beginning in 2002. Earlier in her career, Ms. Warren served as a CRNA at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, between 1975 and 1978. Prior, she was a dietary aide and a vocational nurse at the Baylor University Medical Center in the 1960s before becoming a registered nurse in 1970. She also completed nurse anesthesia training at the Charity Hospital School of Anesthesia for Nurses in 1975.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Warren also honorably served in the United States Air Force Nurse Corps from 1978 to 1998, advancing to the rank of major before departing from the armed forces. During this time, she also completed coursework at the Squadron Officer School in 1981, the Air Command and Staff College in 1985, and the Air War College in 1989. For her valiant service, she received a myriad of military decorations, such as a Commendation Medal and three Meritorious Service Medals. Civically engaged as well, Ms. Warren has contributed extensively to several charitable and nonprofit organizations, including the American Heart Association, Susan G. Komen, Father Flannigan's Home for Children, Mercy Ship Africa, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Way Christian Learning Center in Grand Prairie, Texas.

In accounting for her success, Ms. Warren credits her strong Christian faith, which propelled her forward in her life and career. She initially entered her field following the birth of her child; desiring to provide for her child, she endeavored to become a CRNA. Looking toward the future, she aims to continue traveling across the United States with her siblings and friends.

Highly educated, Ms. Warren received a Bachelor of Arts from Ottawa University in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1980. Subsequently, she received a Master of Science in human resource management from Troy State University in Troy, Alabama, in 1992.
