Subsequently, he excelled as a wilderness specialist at Wilderness Academy from 1996 to 1997, and Mr. Leasure acknowledges these experiences as vital for instilling in him a profound appreciation for collaboration and astute leadership, as well as a focus on meticulous planning.
Throughout his career, Mr. Leasure has been recognized for his contributions to the field with various accolades including features in prestigious trade magazines and on Houzz. He was also humbled to collaborate on a mural for a hotel in Hawaii, which reflects his motivation to integrate artistry with functionality. Additionally, Mr. Leasure's membership in The Concrete Countertop Institute and the U.S. Green Building Council further underscores a deep commitment to sustainable building practices and continuous learning within his profession.
Mr. Leasure attributes much of his success to lessons learned from working alongside his father as a teenager. This early exposure to construction awoke in him a passion for sustainable building practices and inspired a dedication to creating unique, environmentally friendly structures. Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Leasure remains actively involved in productive initiatives throughout the region, and he is proud to be a founding board member of Mountain Sun Community School, which opened in 2008.
