In preparation for her career, Mrs. Williams received a Bachelor of Science in Business/Information Systems from the University of Phoenix in 2001. She also holds several professional credentials that have bolstered her expertise, including being a certified ISO 22301 Lead Implementer and Certified Business Continuity Professional. She is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt through California State Polytechnic University. During her military career, Mrs. Williams received her training at Redstone Arsenal. Redstone Arsenal is noted for hosting the Marshall Space Flight Center, NASA's largest field center for propulsion analysis and development.
In addition to her professional achievements, Mrs. Williams has been actively involved in professional and civic organizations. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, where she was recognized as Woman of the Year in 2015.
