He also held dual roles as the CTO and vice president of engineering at eHealth Technologies between 2021 and 2022, focusing on developing innovative health care solutions that streamlined hospital operations. Mr. Norman's tenure at UnitedHealth Group from 2006 to 2021 included positions as a managing consultant, senior director of software engineering, and as the vice president of information technology, where he spearheaded clinical software development that managed prior authorizations for UHC and care program management for Optum.
One of Mr. Norman's most notable achievements throughout his career was his time working with the National Health Service (NHS), where he led a groundbreaking project to overhaul a monolithic system into a scalable Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. This initiative significantly improved the NHS's care program management. The pilot program's success led to its adoption by seven additional clients within a year, domestically and internationally.
Mr. Norman attributes much of his success to his educational background and the mentorship he has received throughout his career. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management from Bethel University in 2002 and attended courses for a Master of Science in software management from the University of Saint Thomas in 2010. These academic achievements provided him with a solid foundation in both technical and managerial aspects of his field.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Norman is actively involved in various civic organizations, which reflects his commitment to community service.
