After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Missouri Southern State University in 1978 with Honors she began her career in the Arts, exhibiting her work in numerous solo and group shows in various cities across America. Additionally, Kissel has had her work represented in collections both domestically and internationally.
Throughout her career, Kissel's dedication and her deep familial roots have profoundly shaped her journey as an artist. Her relentless pursuit of creative exploration and her commitment to sharing her knowledge with others have established her as a respected figure in the local art community.
