Ms. Bedi is also the co-author of two Indian works – "Unspoken Utterances" and "Lustre of Emotions" – and has contributed to several anthologies. Outside of her published works, she has maintained an active social media presence in the form of a popular Facebook and Instagram page, "Experiences of Life," through which she posts various quotes, videos and poems that are intended to inspire and motivate her 8,600 followers. As a mother, Ms. Bedi has steered much of her insight toward children, whom she believes deserve lessons that teach them moral lessons and spur them to become better people.
Outside of her writing, Ms. Bedi has accrued numerous years of experience in portfolio management, project management, and organizational transformation. Throughout this time, she has cultivated a wealth of experience in leading highly talented teams and leading businesses through periods of uncertainty. Presently, Ms. Bedi serves as an assessor board member with Capillary Consulting Inc., where she has helped support the organization's mission and vision by assessing the assigned written submissions of prospective certified change agents, change leaders, and change management professionals. Before obtaining her current role with Capillary Consulting, Ms. Bedi oversaw a $50 million program management initiative as the senior program and project manager for the Mphasis Corporation in 2022. She previously worked in positions of leadership at Miro, MetLife, Dawson International, Manipal Global Education Services and Centum Learning Limited, from 2013 until 2022. During this time, she led a number of projects and various teams distributed throughout the world, circumvented several challenges, managed the delivery of multiple programs, and served as a mentor to those in need of her expertise. Prior to this period, Ms. Bedi gained valuable expertise in change management, organizational leadership, personal branding, quality management, instructional design, customer success, and more with NIIT, Genpact, Quark Media House, Z Career Institute, and Goldfinch Mobile Solutions, where she began as a trainee in 2008.
An expert in her field, Ms. Bedi received a Bachelor of Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering from Punjab Technical University in 2008. She was also certified as a project management professional by the Project Management Institute in 2023 and in leadership principles by the Harvard Business School Online in 2021. Additional qualifications to her credit include certified ScrumMaster and Information Mapping Professional, among several others.
In accounting for her success, Ms. Bedi credits her tireless drive to excel, as well as her resilience in the face of numerous challenges. She is grateful for the constant support of her husband and son, whose kind and friendly nature has proven inspirational. Additionally, she is thankful for the influence of her parents, who always encouraged her writing, and her grandparents, who imbued her with a passion for independence. Looking ahead, Ms. Bedi aspires to continue expanding the scope of her career within the next decade.
