Earlier roles included senior finance director for the Asia Pacific region between 2009 and 2013 and finance director from 2005 to 2009. Before joining Cooper Standard, Mr. Changoo was the operations finance director at Tower International from 2001 to 2005 and many positions of increasing responsibility including the director of planning and analysis (OSS) at Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen Group between 1989 and 2001.
Mr. Changoo's notable achievements include championing Asia-Pacific growth from $100 million to $700 million through organic and inorganic means. He successfully negotiated and integrated four acquisitions totaling approximately $360 million in China and Korea. Additionally, Mr. Changoo oversaw cross-functional teams across global and regional product lines as part of the company's value-driving efforts. His expertise in developing and executing strategy, profit and loss management, and long-term value creation has been instrumental in his career success.
Mr. Changoo's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in business finance from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts, since 1994 and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern Kellogg in Evanston, Illinois, in 2019.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Changoo is actively involved in professional and civic organizations. He is a board member of CSBV and serves as the church treasurer for the Pontiac Seventh-day Adventist Church, demonstrating his commitment to community service.
