Dr. Bradford is a distinguished family physician with the University of Maryland Capital Region Health, where she has been providing comprehensive primary care since 2022. In her role, she is responsible for direct patient care in the outpatient office, supervising resident physicians pursuing a specialty in family medicine, and serving as an attending physician in the newborn nursery. Her expertise encompasses newborn care, women's health, obstetrics and preventative medicine. Dr. Bradford's dedication to her profession is evident through her commitment to patient care and medical education.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Bradford was selected as a New Faculty Scholar for the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine in 2024. This prestigious appointment reflects her dedication to advancing medical education and her status as an expert in her field. Prior to her current role, she served as Chief Resident at the University of Maryland Medical Center from 2021 to 2022, completing her residency in Family Medicine between 2019 and 2022. Her leadership and academic prowess were also recognized early when she was named to Who's Who Among American High School Students.

Dr. Bradford is an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Maryland Academy of Family Physicians, and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. Her involvement with these organizations underscores her commitment to staying abreast of developments in her field and contributing to the broader medical community.

The foundation of Dr. Bradford's success can be traced back to her rigorous academic training. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2019 after completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology and Immunology in 2017. Her undergraduate studies culminated in a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, with minors in Sociology and Africana studies, from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2009. The support from her family and early exposure to research and medicine were pivotal in shaping her career path.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Bradford is deeply involved with various extracurricular activities that reflect her commitment to community service and social justice in medicine. She has served as a member of the advisory council for DiscoverU Health and has been Chair of the Bioethics Committee at the University of Maryland Capital Region Health since 2024. Her leadership skills were also evident during her co-founding of the Minority Housestaff Organization at the University of Maryland Medical Center from 2020 to 2022 and serving as a Resident board member for the Maryland Academy of Family Physicians during the same period. Additionally, Dr. Bradford has mentored young scholars through the CURE Scholars Program at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and leads worship at her local church.

Dr. Bradford's personal life is rich with engagement in community service, singing, planning outreach projects, and enjoying outdoor activities with her family, which includes three sons. Looking ahead, she envisions an impactful public health career, where she will design and execute meaningful services and programs that transforms communities by mitigating health disparities and improving outcomes for underserved communities.
