Prior to working at Opsera, Mr. Vasudevan attended university in his home county of India, earning a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical and electronics from Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathis Viswa Mahavidyalaya, Kancheepuram, in 2005.
Soon after graduating, Mr. Vasudevan began his career as a systems engineer for IBM Global Business Services, now known as IBM Consulting, where he gained experience for several years before stepping into the role of project manager at Cognizant in 2008. After five years there, he applied his experience in the role of infrastructure delivery manager, working for the State of Wisconsin for a year, and then joined American Express as a senior product development manager. In 2016, Mr. Vasudevan became a certified Scum Master through the Global Association for Quality Management and accepted the position of delivery leader at Wells Fargo, where he contributed until 2020, when he joined Opsera.
Most recently, Mr. Vasudevan received the Global Leadership Award at the Internet 2.0 Conference in 2022 and the International Achievers' Award, bestowed upon him by the Indian Achievers Forum, in 2023. Alongside his professional positions, he serves as an ambassador of the DevOps Institute, a board advisor for DevNetwork, and an influencer for the DevOps Agile Skills Association. In reflecting on his career thus far, Mr. Vasudevan is highly satisfied with his proficiency in delivering successful outcomes on all his commitments and takes pride in his ability to identify the appropriate mentor to guide him toward the next level of his career. In all he has achieved and plans to accomplish in the near future, he attributes his success to both his unwavering self-belief and the support of his loved ones.
