Ms. Clark's earlier career also included valuable experience gained at Johnson Graffe Keay Moniz and Wick from 1999 to 2003, as a partner and solicitor at Lees and Partners between 1994 to 1998, and as an associate solicitor at Lees Lloyd Whitley from 1991 to 1994. In addition to her legal work, Ms. Clark contributed to the legal community as an adjunct professor at Portland State University from 2010 to 2011.
Born in Liverpool, U.K., Ms. Clark received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester in 1988 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Chester College of Law in 1989. She is admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, through the Washington and Oregon Bar Associations, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
Ms. Clark's professional affiliations are extensive and include serving as a board member, president, and chair of the continuing legal education committee for the Clark County Bar Association and as a member of the Multnomah Bar Association, the Donald Simpson Inns of Court, the Oregon State Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington Association of Justice, and the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. Beyond her professional involvement, Ms. Clark is deeply committed to her community, as evidenced by her continuing position as a troop leader for a local Girl Scouts of America troop and through her involvement as a founding board member and executive producer of The Portland Panto Players, a theater company she established with her husband in 2018, which aims to bring British panto to the U.S.
In recognition of her dedication to service and excellence in her field, Ms. Clark has been recognized with such accolades as Outstanding Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Clark County Bar Association in 2017 and with inclusion as a Washington Super Lawyer and Elite Lawyer in 2020 and 2023, respectively.
