Since 2002, she has been the president and chief executive officer of three hospital foundations by day and since 2009 she has additionally held the title of executive coach, serving clients both nationally and internationally through phone and virtual sessions.
Her career has been marked by a series of impactful leadership roles. Ms. Gannon has been the president of the St. Margaret Foundation since 2009. From 2002 to 2009, she was the president and chief executive officer of the Forbes Health Foundation, where she notably raised $10.4 million for a hospital that had previously experienced the largest hospital bankruptcy in U.S. history. Ms. Gannon also found success as the executive director of Ohio Valley General Hospital Foundation between 2001 and 2002. Her earlier roles include serving as the executive director of Three Rivers Advertising Specialty Association from 1996 to 2001, during which time she also worked as a reporter for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Ms. Gannon received numerous professional credentials that have furthered her expertise, including Professional Coach (PC) Certification from Duquesne University, coach certification (ACC) from the International Coach Federation in 2021 to current, participation in the coaching in medicine and leadership from Harvard University in 2010, accreditation in the Google originated Search Inside Yourself Program from the Institute for Transformational Leadership at Georgetown University in 2017, and Certified Association Executive (CAE) by the American Society of Association Executives from 2005 to current.
In addition to her work-related commitments, Ms. Gannon has held dozens of volunteer leadership roles in non-profit agencies, including serving as the president of the Rotary Club of Fox Chapel, and Saint Lucy's Auxiliary to the Blind and as the chairperson of the development committee at the Center for Healthcare Solutions.
