Ms. McCullough's journey with Montgomery County Government began in 2003 as a senior executive administrative aide, a position she held until 2006 when she was promoted to administrative specialist II. In 2008, she advanced to administrative specialist III. Ms. McCullough's expertise spans administrative, financial, budget, grant, human resource and contract management. Her proficiency in these areas is a testament to her dedication and skill set, which have been honed over years of experience.
Before pivoting into local government, Ms. McCullough contributed her skills to American University as a staff assistant from 2000 to 2003. The university recognized her contribution with a Quality Peer Award. She also succeeded as an executive assistant at Sidwell Friends School, a pre-K to grade 12 co-educational Quaker day school with campuses in Washington, D.C., and Bethesda, Maryland, between 1992 and 2000.
After earning her high school diploma from Walter Johnson High School, Ms. McCullough earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in strategic entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2018. She also holds certifications as a notary public in Maryland.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. McCullough is deeply involved in civic activities. She served as a volunteer sexual assault counselor for victims of sexual assault with the Montgomery County Government and actively engaged with Doberman Assistance, Rescue & Education (DARE) by assessing the dogs for future forever homes.
She attributes her achievements to being a lifelong learner passionate about helping communities.
As she prepares for opportunities, Ms. McCullough aims to channel her entrepreneurial spirit by developing a business focused on shoes and clothing for women in transition. She is also exploring opportunities to offer online services that help consumers learn how to assemble outfits and accessories effectively.
