Ms. Chernyshov's career began as a legal services director at the Medical Review Institute from 1995 to 1998. She then prospered at the rank of information consultant for fifteen years, honing her skills in information and data management and cybersecurity. Her comprehensive accumulated experience has made Ms. Chernyshov a sought-after expert in developing programs to address data minimization and controls to reduce cyberattack surfaces and comply with regulations and privacy laws.
Impressive academic accomplishments further define Ms. Chernyshov's profile and have built a solid foundation upon which to pursue her unique career objectives. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication from the University of Utah, which she earned in 1988; and Ms. Chernyshov proudly completed a Master of Science in legal studies summa cum laude from Albany Law School in 2020 with a focus on cybersecurity and data privacy.

Civic engagement remains a vital component of Ms. Chernyshov's profile and is reflected in her roles as the vice chair of the Lamprey Arts and Culture Alliance and a water sampler for Great Bay Coast Watch. Additionally, she tutored adults at the Literacy Action Center in Salt Lake City.
