She joined the Switzerland-based enterprise in late 2023 and is responsible for the company's global commercialization strategy and execution.
Along with her current role at AliveDx, Ms. Altomare has continued to serve on Savran Technologies Inc.'s board of directors since 2019. Subsequently, Ms. Altomare joined PerkinElmer, where she made significant contributions over nearly 10 years to ViaCord and ViaCell. After starting as a sales manager for ViaCord, she became a senior manager of sales and services, followed by director of sales and service, and finally, senior director of sales, services, and commercial operations. She received the 2005 Tree of Life Award for her impactful contributions to organizational enhancement, recognizing her contributions to ViaCell becoming a public company. She has proven instrumental in commercialization efforts, customer engagement, and profitability enhancement. Moreover, her strategic approach maximized the company's valuation and ensured its success.
As a result of her dedication, impact, and experience, Ms. Altomare stepped into the role of vice president of sales, service, and commercial operations for PerkinElmer's Boston branch in 2008, a role she held for several years before overseeing the Spokane, Washington, branch as vice present and general manager. Following her time at PerkinElmer, her journey led her to Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she applied her leadership experience as their vice president and general manager from 2012 to 2014, further solidifying her expertise in managing product lines and driving business growth. Demonstrating her versatility and leadership acumen, she joined Abcodia's board of directors as a member. She simultaneously served as president before holding the position of chief executive officer for the global business between 2014 and 2017.
Ms. Altomare's time at Abcodia continued when she became a non-executive director and consultant, a position she held until 2018. Concurrently, she served as Sera Prognostics' chief commercial officer from 2017 to 2023, where she played a critical role in the company's commercial trajectory, leading to its public offering. Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Altomare is deeply passionate about culture, core values, theater, music, and travel, interests that expand her multi-cultural upbringing and her global perspective. In addition to her hobbies, she served on the board of several organizations that focus on aiding different communities, including St. Jude Children's Research, the Boston Chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, the Boston chapter of March of Dimes, and currently serves on the board of Patient Rights Advocate. Furthermore, she extends her resources to global communities and has recently donated to earthquake victims and aided survivors in Morocco through her generosity.
As she continues in her career, Ms. Altomare remains committed to leveraging her C-suite role to make strategic contributions, create value, and drive company development to bolster AliveDx's standing in the diagnostics arena.
