During his tenure, Mr. Pitaniello initiated numerous Bible translation projects across various countries. He also made significant contributions as the Country Director, Strategy Coordinator, and language program director with the International Mission Board in Cambodia from 1999 to 2014 and, during his early career, upheld civil engineering roles at the New York State Department of Health and Dallas County Public Works. Mr. Pitaniello also taught high school Math for a year at Dallas Independent School District.
Mr. Pitaniello's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering with a concentration in environmental engineering from Clarkson University and a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from State University of New York College at Potsdam, both earned in 1992. Mr. Pitaniello also completed post-baccalaureate pre-medical work at the University at Albany in 1995.
Mr. Pitaniello's personal life is deeply intertwined with his professional endeavors. Initially aspiring to be a medical doctor, his path was redirected after attending a Youth With A Mission conference at Christ for the Nations that inspired him to dedicate himself to missionary work. He is presently actively involved as a board member for LifeMark Ministries and has served as an adjunct Sunday school teacher and youth group leader at his church. Among other contributions, Mr. Pitaniello facilitated the adoption of orphaned children from Cambodia into families in Oklahoma.
Mr. Pitaniello attributes his success to divine guidance and the influence of various individuals who have supported him throughout his career. His future aspirations include joining the movement to eradicate human trafficking with plans to lead fundraising initiatives to support the cause.
