Mr. Samson's career began in India as an administrative officer at Pennwalt India Ltd. in 1977. He joined Sony-Orson Video as an administrative manager from 1981 to 1982 and became a personnel manager at Atlas Copco in the Mumbai area in 1982. These early career steps allowed Mr. Samson to develop his servant leadership and soft skills in a cross-section of industries in the world's largest democracy. Mr. Samson's early career also included teaching roles at the University of Southwestern Louisiana and at community colleges between 1985 and 1988, which paved the way for his passion in teaching through mentoring later in life.
Highly educated, Mr. Samson holds a Bachelor of Science in physics from Saint Xavier's College (Mumbai) since 1974, a Master of Arts in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai) since 1977, and a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette since 1986. He also received credentials in building resilience through LinkedIn in 2021.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Samson is active with several industry-related organizations. He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council.
