Before establishing himself professionally, Mr. Posey earned a Bachelor of Arts from Youngstown State University. Subsequently, he expanded his knowledge by completing a diploma in the Scenarios Programme at the University of Oxford's Said Business School. He also became a certified senior consultant through Birkman International and a certified assessor through the Center for Creative Leadership.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Posey has aligned himself with several organizations, including the Society for Human Resource Management, the National Academy of Human Resources, the Douglas A. Fraser Center for Workplace Issues, the University of Michigan, and the University of Oxford's Green Templeton College, where he has been a fellow since 2008.
