Nicole Ennen Recognized for Significant Contributions to the Field of Consulting

    SAN JOSE, CA, July 31, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nicole Ennen has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Ennen is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Principal Consultant at Org Empathy Consulting LLC, positions she has held since establishing the firm in 2023. With a focus on enabling leaders, teams and organizations to work more effectively through the lens of empathy, she has dedicated her career to improving employee experience that fosters long-term business success. In her consulting role, she specializes in designing and implementing people operations programs that result in happier and more productive employees. Her main areas of expertise include building experiential workshops that train managers and leaders in empathetic leadership skills, developing teams into effective collaborators and communicators, and measuring and improving organizational culture.

Prior to founding Org Empathy Consulting LLC, Ms. Ennen had a distinguished career at Google. Most recently, from 2019 to 2023, she served as the Senior Manager of surveys and research within Google Cloud where she led an international team to measure and improve customer experience. Her first role at Google, from 2016 - 2019, was in the People Analytics department, where she led initiatives to measure and improve candidate and employee experience across various domains such as: hiring, internal mobility, career development, & attrition. For her entire Google tenure, she was also a training facilitator on topics such as team development, performance management, bias busting, interviewer training and more. Before her tenure at Google, she was the manager of assessment training and quality assurance at Javelin HR Solutions from 2014 to 2015.

Serving as a foundation for her professional success, Ms. Ennen holds a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato, earned in 2014. She also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in both psychology and sociology from the University of Montana in 2012. During her time at the University of Montana, she was a successful track & field athlete, receiving the Academic All-American award for her joint academic and athletic success.

In addition to her academic accomplishments, Ms. Ennen is actively involved in several industry-related organizations. She is a member of the Society for Industrial / Organizational Psychology and serves on the professional development committee for practitioners. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Bay Area Organizational Development Network, and the Changing Work Collective. Her commitment to professional development is further demonstrated by her receiving certifications in Movement in Practice and Hogan Leadership Development Assessments.

Ms. Ennen's contributions extend beyond her professional life to civic-minded organizations. She has served on the board of performing arts nonprofit Harmony Werks since 2023. She is a volunteer workshop facilitator for SCORE to help small businesses get started. She is passionate about helping new practitioners succeed and has served as a mentor for early career professionals through SHRM and SIOP.

She has contributed to academic literature with her work "The Importance of Trust for Satisfaction, Motivation, and Academic Performance in Student Learning Groups," published in the journal Social Psychology of Education. She has also performed over a dozen professional presentations at various conferences, including the Society of Industrial/Organizational Psychology, the Association of Psychological Sciences, and more, on topics ranging from employee selection, to whole person management, to empathy in organizational culture, and beyond.

Ms. Ennen appreciates and recognizes the support and opportunities provided by those around her throughout her career that has helped lead to her success. She is particularly grateful to Amy, one of her first managers at Google, her family, and her I/O Psychology professors who mentored her during her studies in higher education.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Ennen enjoys creating mixed media art (and selling it through her art business), singing/performing in stage productions, and being active through dance, softball, climbing, and hiking. Looking ahead, she is enthusiastic about integrating her artistic side into her work in organizations. She is currently developing innovative, arts-based learning workshops that help teams build the skills to work better together through creating art.
