Summerlin Consulting Group is a financial services firm Paula established in 2023. SCG offers a wealth of knowledge in accounting, business strategy, bookkeeping and taxes to her clients and does so in English, Spanish, and her native tongue Portuguese. Prior to her current endeavors, Mrs. Warnstedt rose as a financial professional in the hospitality industry of Las Vegas, during which time she began at the Sunterra Corporation and gradually advanced in prominence to become an internal staff auditor for MGM Resorts International. Following this period, she departed from MGM to work as the chief financial officer at Angry Elephant, a marketing company in Florida, for a handful of years. It was in this role that she first gained practical experience in business strategy and management, setting her on the path toward future success.
In 2016, Mrs. Warnstedt joined Born and Raised, a chain of local gaming bars in Las Vegas, as its CFO. Among her most notable achievements, she is immensely proud to have helped the owner achieve all of his stated goals when she first began working for the company. In addition to helping him rise from a 1% ownership stake to 100% ownership, Mrs. Warnstedt's adroit financial oversight of Born and Raised led to the opening of two additional locations throughout Las Vegas.
Having helped shepherd Born and Raised through the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic throughout the early 2020s, Mrs. Warnstedt decided to go into business for herself in 2023, opening Summerlin Consulting locations in Florida and Nevada. With abundant experience in budgeting matters and a number of accounting software and e-commerce platforms, she is well-positioned to assist her clients with any financial issues they may encounter.
Mrs. Warnstedt's expertise in the field has been further augmented by her academic acumen – after earning a Bachelor of Science in accounting at the University of Phoenix in 2009, she went on to graduate with an MBA the following year. In accounting for her subsequent success, she has largely credited the influence of her husband, John, who has always been her greatest supporter, and her daughters, who have long served as the driving force behind her efforts. Paula greatly appreciates all the sacrifices her husband and two daughters have made for her to achieve such a remarkable career in business. From missing volleyball practices to having to order take out instead of cooking, Paula appreciates her family for their understanding and continued support, she couldn't have asked for a better group.
Outside of her vocation, Mrs. Warnstedt maintains her affiliation with several local chambers of commerce, and has served as a volunteer at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School since 2009. Looking toward the future, she aspires to expand both her earnings at Summerlin Consulting and the scope of her operations, aiming to hire a new accountant and several bookkeepers in order to offer a full-service experience to her clients.
