He added to his experience as a Financial Advisor at MassMutual and Northwestern Mutual, where he hired and trained more than a dozen financial advisors, while maintaining the position of top producer in his network office.
Prior to shifting his focus to finance, Mr. Loynd established himself in various sales and consultative roles. As a District Sales Manager for Frito Lay, he led and grew a $10 million business unit and was ranked the top District Manager in the country's top zone in 2011. Looking further back, Mr. Loynd demonstrated his ability to adapt to different responsibilities while working as an Enrollment Councelor and Trainer at both Grand Canyon University and at Apollo Education Group, the owner of the University of Phoenix, where he provided structured guidance to college students seeking a formal degree. His professional life started as a sales rep, while still a full time student, working with a couple start up home security companies from 2004 to 2008, where he sold home security systems door to door in multiple cities across the U.S.
Mr. Loynd's success is backed up by a strong academic foundation. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in business management from the University of Phoenix in 2009 and later pursued a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University. He has completed licensure as an investment company and variable contracts products representative, a uniform securities agent and a uniform investment adviser from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Additionally, Mr. Loynd is Certified Family Business Specialist through The American College of Financial Services and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary designee.
Well-regarded for his contributions in the field, Mr. Loynd has received numerous accolades in recognition of his accomplishments. He was named a Top Performer at Northwestern Mutual and won the Agent of the Year Award during his time at MassMutual. Mr. Loynd has been a qualifier of the prestigious Million Dollar Roundtable since 2014. In 2021, Mr. Loynd was named one of the Top 100 Rising Leaders in Finance at the Global Conference on Insurance and Finance, and most recently recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager in 2024. Mr. Loynd credits his success to hard work and persistence, the encouragement of his parents, his wife, Kristen, who has been his biggest advocate as an entrepreneur, and the mentorship from several important figures early in his career. Beyond his professional life, Mr. Loynd is known for his civic advocacy. He volunteers with Feed My Starving Children and donates to the Phoenix Rescue Mission, among others. Mr. Loynd also co-founded H3 Phoenix, a nonprofit that has raised over $100,000 from community leaders in support of various charities. He attends and supports Sun Valley Community Church, and considers his faith in Jesus the cornerstone of his life.
Outside of his career, Mr. Loynd is a devoted husband and father to three children. In his free time, he enjoys golf, lifting weights, reading, traveling, dining experiences and pickleball, where he is currently working to achieve a 5.0 competitive skill rating.
