As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Cleveland State University in 1973, Mr. Klein began his career by joining the Big Four firm Ernst & Young Global Limited in auditing and advisory services. Subsequently, he expanded his professional knowledge by completing MBA courses at John Carroll University and working as the Chief Financial Officer of Manco, Inc., where he worked between 1981 and 1991. Over the years, Mr. Klein maintained professional alignment with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Executives International, and the American Management Association to stay abreast of ongoing industry changes.

Before retirement, Mr. Klein honed his leadership expertise as the President of the boutique firm VecTor ICS and provided advisory and ERP services, and interim roles such as chief financial officer, controller, and project manager. In his myriad roles, Mr. Klein sought out Private Equity Investors and CPA and banking firms that needed his financial expertise. Since retiring from Vector, Mr. Klein has focused his energy on his work as a lifetime board member and past president of Providence House Cleveland, Ohio, whose stated mission is "Providence House keeps kids safe and families together, embracing them with support to enhance stability that strengthens communities". PH provides emergency shelter, direct care services, medical care, case management, parent support, and family trauma services for children and families.

Given his professional accomplishments, Mr. Klein was honored with the Outstanding Citizen Award from the State of Ohio. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in being one of the founders of Providence House in 1981. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. Klein credits his success to his unwavering faith in God. His family's legacy of service to God is illustrated by their service to Bear Christian Hospital in Chirala, India, founded by his great aunts, Dr. Mary Bear and Emma Bear in 1909. Looking toward the future, he intends to help expand Providence House's reach, expand his writing, and pursuing music and art.
