Dr. Sodhi, an accomplished artist and educator, has dedicated over five decades to her profession. She currently holds the title of artist at Artwork On-Wheels, a business she and her husband Gunwant Sodhi established in 2024. The name "Artwork On-Wheels" reflects her intention to travel across the United States for her paintings, exhibitions and art fairs. Throughout her career, Dr. Sodhi has embraced diverse roles that highlight her multifaceted talents and unwavering dedication to the arts and education.

Since 2017, Dr. Sodhi has served as a substitute teacher at Grand Island Senior High School while also continuing her work as an artist and author. Additionally, she has been an artist and teacher with the Niagara Falls City School District since 2010. Her tenure with the district included a previous stint from 2009 to 2011. From 2010 to 2014, Dr. Sodhi was an artist and yogic meditation master at The Niagara Arts & Cultural Center under the "Arts Today US", art studio program. She also contributed as an art instructor at the same center in 2011 and 2014.

Dr. Sodhi's earlier career includes composing music for Media Fine Tuned Inc. from 2009 to 2010 and teaching art in Delhi from 1991 to 2005. Her extensive teaching experience began in India, where she taught English from 1986 to 2006, formative experiences that have profoundly influenced her current career trajectory.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Sodhi pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Arts from Jabalpur University, followed by a Bachelor of Education. She then attained a Master of Arts in English from Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya and a Master of Arts in drawing and painting from Bhopal University. In 2005, she completed a PhD in fine art with a focus on Pablo Picasso's drawings and paintings from Chaudhary Charan Singh University. Alongside her degrees, Dr. Sodhi obtained certifications in art appreciation from the National Museum, Reiki mastery, yogic meditation and teaching English as a second language.

Dr. Sodhi's contributions extend beyond her professional roles. She volunteered at the Edison Museum in New Jersey from 2006 to 2010 and at the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, Niagara Falls from 2011 to 2014. She has received numerous awards, including winning an art exhibition for her three-dimensional painting of marble rocks, second prize at a state-level sitar competition in Gujarat, India and multiple first prizes in sitar competitions and art exhibitions dating back to 1974.

In addition to her primary occupation, Dr. Sodhi is also a prolific author, having published around 40 books on Amazon and Google Play, including E-books & Paperback books. Among other platforms, she composed music for the film "Mom I Don't Want to Speak My Mother Tongue" and wrote several articles, including "Ajanta, A Glimpse of Celestial Beauty." Dr. Sodhi also co-authored religious books with her father and translated from Guru Granth Sahib, "Japji Sahib and Spiritual verses of Sheikh Farid," into English.

Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Sodhi is most proud of exhibiting her paintings and receiving wonderful comments and feedback, on her "Mystical Art", that she has pioneered. Her exhibitions include "The Healing Colors" in Ahmedabad in 2012, alongside her appearance in the Golden Beads of Contemporary Indian Art, where her art and collaborations with fellow artists were prominently highlighted. Moreover, Dr. Sodhi was featured in an article, "Raising the Spirit Level," following her exhibition in 2009, and she has participated in significant cultural events such as those at the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center in 2011 and 2014.

Born in India, Dr. Sodhi enjoys the sitar and photography, having authored books such as the "Flower Series." She also dedicates time to creating designs, practicing Reiki and yogic meditation, gardening, cooking, interpreting Shakespeare's sonnets and sharing poems on YouTube. Looking ahead, Dr. Sodhi plans to travel monthly with her paintings, applying for exhibitions in different states and cities like New York and Manhattan, and further aiming to participate in art fairs and art galleries worldwide.
